Regularly, the leaders of all countries gather to find solutions for tackling the global warming issue. Unfortunately, they have not yet come to a decision that that will deliver concrete results. The situation is so urgent that this COP21 conference is our last chance to make real change before it is too late.

During previous summits, nature has always been kept away from the talks. It was as if its only role was playing the helpless victim of manhood's destructive impact. However, biodiversity protection is one of the major solutions to fight global warming.

Noé is responsible for preserving biodiversity, and the organization has decided to lend its voice to nature during the COP21 conference to help it be heard. How? All thanks to Koko. Koko is a female gorilla who belongs to one of the rarest species on earth which can communicate using sign language, and the only one that can send a message to mankind.

Preserving
biodiversity :
a solution
to fight climate change

Let's remind the stakeholders that the fate of man and nature is tied to biodiversity, which is one of the major solutions to the climate crisis.

I have read « The call of Nature » and I request the COP21 participants to commit to writing the preservation and restoration of biodiversity in the Paris Agreement.

Koko is a female gorilla and she belongs to one of the rarest species on earth that can communicate using sign language. She baffled the scientific world when she learned how to master more than a thousand signs.
The Gorilla Foundation, in which Koko was raised, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation, protection and well-being of giant apes and more specifically gorillas.
